Tires are constructed out of different polymer materials with numerious reinforcement elements. The performance of the tire depends on multiple factors ranging from the material behavior to their load conditions, running surface, and also vechile to which they are mounted on. Finite Element Analysis can help understand the characteristics behavior of the tire under certain scenario and reveal important information to continue the design iteration. However, the complexity and the number of physics that is considered easily increase the degree of freedom (DOFs) to a level that will make it challenging to carry out computationa analysis difficult. Therefore, to tackle these challenges, a combine hybrid FEA-Analytical approach can be implemented to model the tire with reasonable computational cost and acceptable system fidelity.
